For New creators who want to build and publish their first Space as quickly as possible.

Quick start

A condensed, end-to-end path from signing in to publishing your first 3D exhibition Space on ArtSpace.

Overview

This guide takes you from signing in to a published, shareable 3D exhibition. Each step links to a fuller guide if you want more detail — but if you follow the steps below in order, you'll have a live Space by the end.

The Studio (the 3D editor) is built for desktop browsers. You can sign in, browse, and view Spaces on mobile, but plan to do your editing on a computer.

Before you begin

  • A Google account — it's the only way to sign in.
  • At least one video file for your artwork.
  • A thumbnail image for your Space (or use the AI thumbnail generator, when available).

Steps

  1. 1Sign in and finish onboarding. Choose Continue with Google, then pick a unique @username, a display name, and an avatar. This one-time setup unlocks creating content. Full guide: Create your account.
  2. 2Create a Space. Go to /spaces/new and enter the basics — title, description, category, default language, visibility, and whether the owner is you or an organization. Full guide: Create a Space.
  3. 3Upload your content. On the upload page, set a thumbnail (required), add one or more artwork videos (required), and optionally add gallery images. Videos are processed after upload and show a "processing" state until they're ready. Full guide: Upload artworks.
  4. 4Build your Space in the Studio. Pick a Zone (the room layout), then place your artworks, add 3D models, textures, and lighting, and set viewpoints. Full guide: Using the Studio.
  5. 5Save your work. Click the Save button at the top-right of the Studio. There is no autosave — and no Ctrl+S shortcut — so save before you leave. The editor warns you if you try to exit with unsaved changes.
  6. 6Publish and share. Flip the status toggle from Draft to Publish in the Studio top bar, save, then copy your share link. Full guide: Publish and share.

A new Space stays a Draft until you publish it. To publish, you must have set both a thumbnail and a Zone — otherwise publishing is blocked. Saving stores your 3D layout; it does not change draft/published status.

Notes

  • Save and publish are separate. The Save button stores your scene; the Draft / Publish toggle controls whether the Space is live. You can save as many times as you like while still a draft.
  • Artworks can be added later too. You can manage videos in the Studio's Artworks panel after this initial upload. 3D models and textures are added only in the Studio.
  • Pick the right visibility. Private is just for you (and org managers), Unlisted shares via a private link, and Public lists your Space in Explore and search.
