For Creators and teams making their first exhibition Space.

Create a space

Start a new 3D exhibition by entering its basic information, then move through upload and the Studio editor.

Overview

A Space is your 3D exhibition. Creating one takes three steps. This page covers Step 1, where you enter the basic information. After that you move on to uploading your thumbnail and artworks, and finally into the Studio, where you build the 3D scene.

The 3-step flow at a glance: 1. Basic info (this page, at /spaces/new) — title, description, category, default language, visibility, and owner. 2. Upload — set a thumbnail and upload your artwork videos (and optional gallery images). 3. Studio — the 3D editor where you build the room, place artworks, add lighting, and publish. Each step leads into the next automatically.

Before you begin

  • You need to be signed in with Google and have finished account setup (a one-time onboarding).
  • Decide whether this Space belongs to you or to one of your organizations.
  • Have a working title and a category in mind. You can change all of this later.

Step 1: Enter basic information

  1. 1Go to /spaces/new (the "Create" or "New space" action in the app).
  2. 2Enter a Title (required, up to 100 characters). This is the name people will see.
  3. 3Optionally add a Description (up to 2000 characters) to help visitors understand your exhibition.
  4. 4Choose a Default Language — the language your title and description are written in. The platform pre-selects your browser language; you can add other languages later in translations.
  5. 5Pick a Category (required) by selecting one of the available tags.
  6. 6Choose the Owner: select Me for a personal Space, or Organization to create it under a gallery or team you belong to.
  7. 7Choose the Visibility: Private, Unlisted, or Public.
  8. 8Select Next to create the Space and continue to the upload step.

Choosing the owner

Selecting Organization reveals a list of the organizations you belong to. You can only create a Space under an organization where you are an Owner or Admin — Member-only organizations appear dimmed. Once a Space is created it stays under that owner. Learn more in Organizations.

Choosing the visibility

  • Private — only you (or, for an organization Space, its managers) can view it.
  • Unlisted — anyone with the share link can view it, but it is not listed publicly.
  • Public — listed in Explore and search so anyone can find it.

Visibility is independent of publish status. A new Space starts as a Draft regardless of the visibility you pick here — you publish it later in the Studio. See Visibility and sharing.

Notes

  • Everything on this form can be edited later under Edit details, so don't worry about getting it perfect now.
  • If you leave before selecting Next, the Space is not created.
