Accounts and sign-in
How do I sign in?
ArtSpace uses Google sign-in only — there is no email-and-password option. Click Sign in, choose your Google account, and you're in. See Account setup for the full walkthrough.
Why do I have to complete onboarding?
The first time you sign in, you complete a one-time onboarding that sets your unique @username, display name, and avatar. These identify you across the platform — on your public profile, your Spaces, and your comments — so onboarding must be finished before you can create content. See Account setup.
Do viewers need an account to view a Space?
No. Anyone can open and explore a Public or Unlisted (shared-link) Space without signing in. An account is only needed to create Spaces or to engage — for example to Like a Space or post a comment. See Viewing spaces.
Can I change my username or organization name?
Yes. You can change your @username in Profile settings, and an organization's URL name in its settings — both check availability as you type. Your display name (and an organization's display name) can be changed any time too. Keep in mind that changing a username or URL name changes your public address, so existing links to the old one will break. See Create an organization.
Creating and saving Spaces
How do I save my work in the Studio?
Use the Save button at the top-right of the Studio. There is no Ctrl+S shortcut and no autosave — if you leave with unsaved changes, the editor warns you first. Saving stores your 3D configuration; it does not change whether the Space is a Draft or Published. See Using the Studio.
Why is my video still processing?
After upload, every artwork video is transcoded into multiple streaming qualities. Until that finishes, the video shows a "processing" state. Processing time depends on the video's length and resolution; the Space stays usable while you wait, and the video becomes playable as soon as it's ready. See Upload artworks.
What is the AI thumbnail daily limit?
The optional AI thumbnail generator has a daily per-user limit (20 by default). Once you reach it, you can try again the next day or upload your own image instead. The feature may also be turned off platform-wide. See AI thumbnail generator.
Why can't I publish my Space?
A Space can be published only once it has a thumbnail and a Zone (the room structure). If the publish control is unavailable, add a cover image on the upload page and create a Zone in the Studio, then try again. See Publish and share.
How many artworks and images can a Space have?
Each Space holds up to 20 artwork videos and up to 10 gallery images. Inside the Studio you can place up to 50 display meshes and bring in up to 10 models plus 5 Gaussian splats. See Upload artworks.
Sharing and visibility
Who can see my draft?
A Space stays a Draft until you publish it, and a draft is visible only to you (and, for an organization-owned Space, the organization's managers). Visitors can't find or open it. See Publish and share.
How do I share a Space privately?
Set the Space's visibility to Unlisted and copy its share link. Anyone with that link can view it, but it won't appear in Explore or search. If a link is ever shared too widely, you can regenerate it to invalidate the old one. See Concept: Visibility and Publish and share.
Verification and notifications
How do I get verified?
Request a badge for your personal account from your settings, or for an organization from its settings (Owner or Admin only). You pick a category (artist, gallery, curator, or institution) for the review team, but everyone gets the same blue check. Review usually takes 3–7 business days; once approved, the blue check appears next to your name. See Verification badge.
How do notifications work?
You control which emails ArtSpace sends from your notification preferences, and you can enable new-device sign-in alerts for added security. See Notification preferences and Security and devices.
